The 1118 features a terry cover designed to prevent burning and allow therapeutic moist heat to penetrate without damaging the skin. All moist heat packs must be applied with either a hot pack cover or heavy towel completely wrapped around the pack to prevent burning. Hook and loop fasteners keep the moist heat packs securely in place.
